Translucent Gothic

On Saturday, I gave the watercolour workshop which inspired me to overhaul my watercolours. You can look at the gallery to see the lovely work which everyone produced. This is my example which I began in the workshop – it may end up as one of my cards but I think I need to add happy birthday in a smaller, more contrasting colour to make it work as a card.

It would be nice to have a whole range of cards like this but I really need to get on with my mathematical mission and that beautiful nautilus shell which is calling for at least three interpretations. The first nautilus piece that I began is a hair-breadth away from complete.
