Time to plan the lettering.
This is part of a larger piece of work with the front side of the nautilus in water colour.
The blue watercolour background is covered in transfer gold (yes, 23.5c gold).
This is something new for me and I'm keeping it stylised by showing a view looking down.
However looking at yesterday's photo – it would be great to do one in perspective and only in watercolour.
