We spent a few days on Tioman Island which was just lovely. Tioman is about 33 miles away west from Northern Malaysia. Just relaxing on the beach, snorkelling and admiring the host of tropical fish and eating local food. This village was inaccessible by car so the favoured transport was by foot or mopeds with homemade sidecars. Actually Tioman also bosted hi-tech internet as you can see.
I found this sign on a palm tree somewhat bemusing – the coconuts were really out of anyone's reach.
