Li Hui: V 2011

I sometimes wonder what they do with all this stuff aferwards. The best thing to do with Superman is to ritualistically melt him completely, because storing large ugly things which are past their sell-by-date (since they were conceptual, not aesthetic) like huge glass vats of cows in formalin or piles of bricks must be a nightmare.

We had lots of fun with an interactive installation by Li Hui: V 2011.
It was situated in a small chapel within the museum which was darkened. All that informed us that it was a chapel, were the Stations of the Cross which were incidental to the installation.
Laser beams of red light shone from the ceiling onto an angled mirror at about 30° to the floor and smoke billowed from underneath it creating sparkles of light.

Here are two pictures of my little granddaughter Elva playing with the beams.
